Materials

LEATHERS:
Vegetable tanning. The leather is placed directly on the tree bark to dry and thus we follow a traditional and natural tanning. The materials we use are chrome-free, in order to respect the environment.
CREPPÉ and LACTAE HEVEA:
Both are saps from the "Hevea" trees in Brazil, from which we obtain the rubber and afterwards the creppe. Both are purely natural rubbers. They are used for the soles of our shoes.
COTTON and JUTE:
Vegetable and biodegradable fibre fabrics made following ecological manufacturing processes. We use these materials both for the summer shoes and for the winter paddings.
CORK:
Produce which comes from the bark of cork trees. We use it in the anatomic soles, thus making the shoe much more ergonomic and comfortable.
RUBBER:
The rubber we use comes from recycled car tyres. Once you have used the shoe, if you return it back to us, we will use the materials to manufacture more shoes.
